What is your nightly rate?

Our rates change depending on the time of year but start at $900/ night.

We charge a $250 cleaning fee per stay.

Do you offer discounts for longer stays?

Yes we do! We offer 10% off stays 7 nights and over, as well as a 20% discount for stays 28 nights or longer!

What is your cancellation policy?

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

What times are check in and check out?

Check in will be at 4pm, however if you need an earlier check in time we will try our best to accommodate.

Checkout is at 11am.

Where do we park?

There is a large driveway located in the front of the property that is big enough to accommodate 3-4 vehicles.

Where do we enter, how do we gain access?

Guests will have access to the entire space of the house as well as the yard and private pond frontage. Guests can come and go through our code lock and the access code will be provided the day before the check-in.

What are some things to do during your stay?

The list of possibilities is endless for this retreat, but to help with your planning we tried to narrow down a few options. Hang out or dine on the wrap around deck that overlooks the pond, or jump in the pond for a swim! Adventure around the surrounding connection of ponds. Explore the nearby town of dildo and dildo brewery, which makes a perfect day trip being only 20 minutes away. Get some exercise by exploring some of hiking trails the East Coast trail paths have to offer within less than an hour drive. Lastly, relax and unwind around a pond side fire pit to top it all off!

A variety of board games are available for those rainy days or hunker down in front of one of the two TV's that are available for you to stream from your favourite subscriptions.

A family flex area and dedicated work space are also available on the top floor with wifi for those work-from-homers.

Do you allow pets?

No, unfortunately due to allergy issues we don’t allow pets.

Do you have a minimum night stay?

We have a minimum of a two night stay.

What is the WiFi code?

The Wifi code and all other relevant check in information will be provided to you by the host the day before your scheduled arrival.

Does this property support NL?

The Lakehouse on Sunset is a supporter of local businesses and as such comes fully equipped with some of the best coffee, soaps, and hair products all made here in Newfoundland!

Are there any other important reminders?

We have a full kitchen and propane grill but you need to bring your own groceries and condiments.

We provide linens and towels.

We provide starters for these items: coffee, paper products (TP/paper towel), laundry and dishwasher soap.
